The Morrison Center provides effective and responsive services for children and youth coping with adversity and trauma. The Morrison Center delivers specialized services to children, from birth through age 21. It supports families coping with abuse, neglect, domestic violence, drug and alcohol addiction, mental health difficulties, criminality, and other harmful stress factors. TFA has been a supporter and champion of the Morrison Center since the early 90’s. Their history and relationship is personal---at the time TFA had an employee who had been helped by the Morrison Center while growing up. This employee wanted to show his appreciation and started encouraging the company to get involved. It didn’t take long until TFA was inspired and wanted to help. This employee started it all and because of his efforts it’s ultimately evolved into what is now a favorite company tradition at Holiday Luncheons—a prize raffle, with the proceeds going to the Morrison Center.

Over the years our staff has created more ways to get involved with this organization. In the early 2000’s, TFA’s Annual Employee Golf Tournament decided to “adopt” The Morrison Center. While this event is on a smaller scale than the Holiday Luncheon, the golfers and our vendors that participate have been very generous and have been able to consistently donate in excess of $3,000 to The Morrison Center through its raffle.

Last year we expanded ticket sales for both raffles by having a separate raffle for Seahawks and Blazer tickets prior to the Holiday Luncheon and the Golf Tournament. These stand-alone raffles have proven to be very successful; and with the help of our suppliers, we plan to continue having them.
